The gate valve moves linearly with the valve stem, which is  called the lifting rod gate valve. This valve is used for full openi-ng and closing, not for adjustment and throttling.The fluid resistance is small, the sealing surface is less scoured and eroded by the medium, and the opening and closing are labor-saving. It has simple form, short structural length, good manufacturing process and wide application range.
