Precautions for installation, operation and maintenance

1. The butterfly valve can be installed on the horizontal, vertical and any Angle of the pipeline, the installation position should ensure convenience of  use, maintenance and replacement .

2. The butterfly valve can be used in both directions .

3. The disc should keep slightly open position (about 5°) when storing, do not store in the open air.

4. Before installation, check whether  the butterfly valve is correct for medium, clean the valve chamber and sealing surface, no dirt is allowed to adhere

5. .After maintenance, the sealing performance shall be tested as required.

6. Wafer flanges should be the flanges special for butterfly valve

7. The valve itself of DN50~DN1200 specification has the sealing effect of the end face, the flange face does not need to be installed with another gasket.

8. When installing the butterfly valve, the consideration flange of the pipeline shall be welded in accordance with its verticality. The butterfly valve shall be installed after the welded pipeline flange reaches room temperature to avoid burning the seat.

9. Worm gear and worm drive device, with indication mark and limit screw (90° opening and closing Angle), to avoid damage to the box and worm gear.

10. In order to make it convenient for you to install and disassemble, it is recommended that you use the inclined flange produced by our factory.
