Before  installation

Before installing , please prepare  the protection tools , and auxiliary, and accessaries , and make sure the valves are in the closing status.

Firstly, check the pre-installation position to ensure the pipeline flange surface is clean and clean without welding slag and dirt.  Any sundries may prevent the disc from moving and damage the valve. The spacing, parallelism and perpendicularity of the pipeline flange face shall meet the requirements of valve installation. The minimum diameter of the flange sealing surface shall ensure that the valve plate can be fully opened, and the maximum diameter shall ensure that the valve seat and the flange sealing surface have sufficient contact area.

Special flange or integral flange is recommended here, flat welding flange is not recommended. If the pipeline flange is of special non-metal material, such as PVC flange, FRP flange, etc., it is necessary to negotiate and communicate with the seller in advance.

Installation

In the installation, the distance between the pipeline flange face must be larger than the structure length of the valve, if the distance is too small,an expander must be used to prop open the flange, do not use valves or other tools to pry the flange.

In general, it is recommended that the valve be installed with the stem in a vertical position and the electric actuator placed above the valve. If mud, ore, slurry, and any medium containing sediment or particles are circulating in the line, it is recommended that the valve be installed with the stem in a horizontal position and the lower disc edge open downstream.Do not install upside down to avoid damage to the actuator due to media leakage.

Place valve in installation position on line, adjust alignment, and install bolt preload.

Testing

Slowly open the valve to full open to ensure that the valve can be fully open or fully closed with normal drive signal and the valve plate will not bump against the inside diameter of the line.

After confirming that the valve is installed correctly, remove the expander and tighten all bolts in order in the symmetrical direction.

After installation, fully open the valve, flush the line, and conduct an in-line pressure test.
